“ Loved this cute place! The decor was cozy and romantic. We sat by the fireplace, which was nice on a cold day. Service was great- just some advice, leave a drink menu on the table vs taking them all, in case we want to order different drinks. We ordered the scallops appetizer, traditional samosas, buttered chicken, garlic naan and their lamb shank special. Everything was delicious! My favorite was the butter chicken and garlic naan. So much flavor. I'm excited to try their lunch and happy hour menu soon. ”

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a charming fireplace that makes you feel right at home from the moment you step inside. The staff here is incredibly kind and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that adds to the overall experience. For starters, I tried the traditional samosas, which were hot, crispy, and paired with a tangy tamarind sauce. It was the kind of comfort food that feels like a warm hug. The pani puri was a delightful surprise with five different flavors, each one refreshing and bursting with flavor--definitely a fun twist on the classic! For the main course, I went with the Delhi Butter Chicken, which came with fragrant rice and soft, buttery garlic naan. The butter chicken was packed with spices and had that perfect creamy texture that made every bite feel indulgent. Honestly, it might just be one of the best butter chickens in the Twin Cities. My only very minor complaint would be the portion of chicken in the butter chicken. At $21, I was hoping for a bit more, though the flavor and overall experience more than made up for it. In the end, Raag has a winning combination of delicious food and an inviting atmosphere. I'd happily return again and again--this place is a true gem. Highly recommend! ”

“ Love the concept and this is truly the only place with a mix of both traditional and modern, fusion dishes in the city! We tried the lamb keema bao, butter chicken empanada for starters which we loved. The bao was our favorite for sure. So unique and delicious! For mains we got the shrimp moilee, eggplant mousakka, and lamb rogan Josh. The shrimp was some of the best curry we've had and I loved the eggplant as well. The pieces of lamb in the rogan Josh were tough and chewy, but everything else was great. I also had a chai which came hot and was well spiced. Overall a great spot and hope to try more of their dishes soon! ”

“ The restaurant environment is very nice! It's great to hang out with friends or just for family dine out. I ordered those dishes with an Indian friend. So I know they are authentic and also yum! The blackened chicken is a little dry to me. But the cheese appetizer is amazing, like tofu! ”

“ Enjoyed a delicious brunch at Raag. The food is perfectly proportioned and a visual treat, with very good variety. This isn't a typical Indian restaurant- it is modern, upscale, and "progressive" so to speak. Enjoyed trying a chai-tini martini to start with. For mains, our party had various dishes including chole bhatura, Szechuan dosa, dhokla, and noodle dishes. The meal was preceded by a unique sensory aromatic experience on the table! While the dosas were flavorful and unique, these were not the large crispy dosas evoked into memory from traditional South Indian restaurants. All the other items were very flavorful and tasty. Finished the meal with various self serve sweet treats. Really enjoyed this unique Indian meal. ”
